At first glance it's intimidating, but you have nothing to fear with the butterfly razor! It's easy to use and gives a smooooth, shave that just isn't possible with a disposable razor. Safe to use on ALL body parts.
Each razor includes 10 double-edged blades and a hemp sack.
Purchasing a reusable razor reduces plastic waste, as its estimated over 2 billion plastic razors and shaving cartridges are thrown away each year, just in the US. Yuck!
A reusable blade also saves you money in the long run because you buy the handle once and use it again and again, replacing only the blades for 25 cents/piece.
Material: Stainless Steel
To load blade in razor: Twist the handle, which opens its wings. Place the blade securely on the holder between the wings and twist the handle to close, which secures the blade in place. You're ready to shave!
To Shave: Use short strokes and light pressure. The weighted handle naturally guides the blade across the skin. Do not press or make long and quick strokes. Rinse throughout the shave.
Care: Rinse your razor thoroughly after each use and shake it dry. Do not dry the blades with a towel, as that will quickly dull the blade. Store your razor in a dry spot away from water and humidity. If you ever notice corrosion or rust starting to develop, rub the spot vigorously with a terry cloth towel, or if a more aggressive approach is needed, use a small piece of emery cloth.
Disposal: Utility will gladly accept your used blades and recycle them for you-please put them in an envelope or something similar to prevent cuts. Blades can be recycled curbside if they are secured in a metal can.
